The real reasons for the US-Israeli war on Iran, explained
.,WITH TRANSCRIPT

The United States and Israel are waging war on Iran, but why? What are their real goals? Ben Norton explains the imperial strategy to impose US hegemony in West Asia (aka the Middle East), destroy the Axis of Resistance, colonize Palestine, destabilize the revolutionary Iranian government, preserve the petrodollar system, prevent de-dollarization, divide BRICS, and break up the Iran-Russia-China partnership.

TRANSCRIPT
israel is at war with Iran israel started this war by launching a surprise
0:07
attack on Iran on the 13th of June and in the following days Iran hit back
0:14
israel attacked Iran again and it escalated into a larger conflict now the
0:20
US government is deeply involved in this war on Iran us President Donald Trump
0:26
knew about all of the operations because the US was helping Israel to plan and to
0:32
carry out this attack israeli officials were given a very clear green light from
0:37
the US government and Donald Trump personally gave his approval to Israel's
0:42
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the US government also provided Israel with very important intelligence that was
0:49
used to target Iranian officials and just 3 days before Israel started this
0:55
war the US delivered 300 Hellfire missiles to Israel knowing that Israel
1:02
would use these US missiles in order to attack Iran and after Israel started the
1:09
war the US military got directly involved this was admitted by the Wall
1:14
Street Journal the newspaper reported quote "The US military is operating in the air on land and at sea to shoot down
1:22
Iranian missiles fired at Israel." End quote it added that before Iran's
1:28
retaliatory strikes even began US fighter jets Navy destroyers and
1:33
groundbased air defense systems were already positioned in place to help
1:38
counter the attacks on Israel this is even more evidence that the US government planned this attack on Iran
1:46
with Israel because the US military was already in place 90% of the victims of
1:52
these USbacked Israeli attacks on Iran have been civilians 90% civilians donald
2:00
Trump has repeatedly threatened Iran and he ordered a complete evacuation of the
2:06
Iranian capital there were roughly 10 million people living in Tehran and yet
2:13
Trump ordered all of them to leave and why is that it's because the US and Israel planned to bomb Tehran into
2:20
rubble this was admitted by Israel's Channel 14 the media outlet admitted
2:26
that Israel's goal is to destabilize and eventually overthrow the Iranian
2:32
government so this is not about Iran's nuclear program this is about regime
2:37
change the US-Israeli strategy is to cause mass chaos and scare the civilian
2:43
population and force millions of people to be displaced which will destabilize
2:49
the government and then the US and Israel plan to bomb Tehran into smitherreens israel's defense minister
2:57
said quote "Tehran will be treated like Beirut." End quote referring to the 2006
3:03
Israeli war on Lebanon in which Israel devastated the Lebanese capital Beirut
3:10
and bombed civilian infrastructure causing mass chaos israeli military officials have admitted that they could
3:17
not wage war without support from the US government and that includes Israel's
3:23
war on Gaza Lebanon Syria and now Iran the US is providing Israel with the
3:29
missiles and the planes and the intelligence that it's using to attack Iran this war would be impossible
3:37
without US support and this is bipartisan US policy the Joe Biden
3:42
administration gave Israel more than $18 billions of dollars of weapons and
3:47
ammunition and the Trump administration is also sending billions of dollars of
3:53
military aid to Israel so the very important point that I wanted to establish at the beginning here is that
3:59
this is a joint USIsraeli war this is not a war that Israel launched without
4:05
the support of the US it's not Israel that's dragging the US into war the US government is deeply involved gave the
4:12
green light to Israel and is overseeing this war against Iran if you want more
4:18
information about that in the description below I will link to the other video and article that I did
4:25
explaining that point but today I want to answer another question which is why
4:30
the US and Israel are waging war on Iran what is the goal of this joint USIsraeli
4:37
war well the reality is there's not just one goal but rather multiple goals i
Goals of US-Israeli war on Iran
4:43
wrote out a list of the main things that the US Empire is trying to accomplish with this war on Iran the first and most
4:51
obvious is to maintain US agy in West Asia also known as the Middle East the
4:56
second is to destroy the anti-colonial axis of resistance i'll talk about that
5:02
later this is the alliance of revolutionary groups in the region that are allied with Iran and have been
5:08
fighting the US and Israel and by destroying the Axis of resistance this
5:14
would make it possible for the US and Israel to carry out the total colonization of Palestine which is
5:20
obviously one of their main goals i mean this strategy is not new at all but Donald Trump said the quiet part loud
5:27
and he admitted that the US wants to colonize Gaza and turn it into an
5:33
outpost for the US especially one where he could build luxury real estate and
5:38
profit the US will take over the Gaza Strip and we will do a job with it too
5:44
we'll own it you know Gaza is interesting it's a phenomenal location on the sea
5:52
best weather you know everything's good it's like some beautiful things could be done with it but the US Empire also has
5:59
several other goals in the joint US-Israeli war on Iran another is
6:04
obviously to prevent Iran from developing nuclear capabilities iran does not have nuclear weapons although
6:10
Israel does and moreover the US government has tried for decades to
6:16
overthrow or at least weaken the independent revolutionary government in
6:21
Iran that came to power in 1979 through a revolution this has been a
6:26
long-standing goal another major goal of this war is to scare other countries in
6:32
the region that may want to move away from the United States and in particular
6:37
the dollar and this especially is targeted at the Gulf monarchies like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab
6:43
Emirates because these countries export a lot of oil and gas which means they make a lot of foreign currency in
6:50
particular US dollars because the US imposed a petro dollar system on the
6:56
region in the 1970s forcing these countries to sell their oil and gas in
7:02
dollars which maintains global demand for the US dollar however in recent
7:07
years the Persian Gulf countries have been moving closer and closer to China which is their largest trading partner
7:13
and even Saudi Arabia is now talking about selling its oil in China's
7:18
currency either in Mimi or Yuan which would be a major blow to the global
7:24
dominance of the US dollar again I'm going to go into greater detail about this issue later this is just a brief
7:30
summary so again one of the goals of this US sponsored war on Iran is to preserve the petro dollar system and
7:37
ensure continued global demand for the US dollar related to that is the US goal
7:43
of destabilizing bricks and the Shanghai cooperation organization brics is the
7:49
global south organization that originally consisted of Brazil Russia India China and South Africa but it has
7:56
expanded greatly and in 2024 Iran became a full member of bricks iran also
8:02
officially became a member of the Shanghai Cooperational Organization in 2023 again I'll talk more about that
8:09
later but the point is is that this US sponsored war against Iran aims at
8:14
dividing the global south and disrupting the multi-olar project in which global
8:20
south organizations like bricks and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization play a key role and the final goal related to
8:28
that is that the US wants to break up the partnership between Iran Russia and
8:35
China with the ultimate goal of isolating Beijing because the United
8:40
States is waging a new cold war on China this is cold war this is admitted openly
8:46
now in Washington it's no longer even controversial saying that so the US is trying to isolate China by dividing it
8:53
from some of its most important allies and some of the most powerful partners of China include Russia and Iran this is
9:02
why Donald Trump himself admitted that he wants to divide Russia and China
9:07
because this is the age-old strategy of divide and conquer you never want Russia
9:13
and China uniting we united them it's a
9:18
shame the stupidity of what they done well I'm gonna have to ununite them and I could think I can do that too i have
9:25
to ununite them if the US can destabilize the independent revolutionary government in Iran
9:31
potentially even overthrowing it and especially if the US can divide Russia
9:36
and China this is part of Washington's new cold war strategy to isolate Beijing
9:43
so you can see that this USbacked war against Iran is about much more than
9:48
just Israel Palestine and it's also about more than just West Asia just the
9:53
Middle East this is a conflict with major geopolitical and economic
9:58
implications spanning the entire world and in the rest of the analysis today I'm going to go through point by point
10:05
and explain the goals and the strategy of the US empire in this joint
10:11
US-Israeli war on Iran now I want to start by highlighting an excellent point
Israel: outpost of US empire
10:16
that was made by Brian Brletic who is the host of the independent news outlet
10:22
The New Atlas and he does great research and Brian Berletic pointed out I think
10:27
correctly that the US is using Israel as it uses Ukraine Taiwan and the
10:33
Philippines to advance its goal of confronting multipolarism or
10:39
multipolarity destroying Iran which is a major nation promoting this global
10:45
south-led multipolar project to challenge the unipolar order in the
10:50
world that was dominated by the US Empire in the 1990s and early 2000s it
10:56
was the only superpower in the world and the US could impose its hegemony on most other countries brian Brletic points out
11:04
correctly that the US is using Israel as a proxy specifically to redirect blame
11:10
and literal incoming missiles away from the US and toward its proxy Israel and
11:17
this isn't in any way to excuse Israel for the horrific crimes it's been carrying out in Gaza in Syria in Lebanon
11:24
and now in Iran of course Israel is directly responsible for these war crimes and crimes against humanity but
11:30
it's important to point out why Israel is carrying out all of these horrific crimes and it's on behalf of the US
11:37
Empire this was spelled out very clearly in a plan that was published by several US government officials for the
11:44
Washington DC based think tank the Brookings Institution which is very closely linked to the US government and
11:51
basically acts as a kind of outsourced arm of the US government in 2009 these
11:57
US government officials these US imperial planners published a strategy paper titled which path to Persia
12:04
options for a new American strategy toward Iran and chapter 5 is titled
12:10
Leave it to BB that is Benjamin Netanyahu so leave it to Netanyahu allowing or encouraging an Israeli
12:17
military strike on Iran in this paper these US government officials at a US
12:24
governmentbacked think tank wrote that the US should encourage Israel to attack
12:30
Iran and this is what they said quote "The United States would encourage and perhaps even assist the Israelis in
12:37
conducting the strikes themselves in the expectation that both international criticism and Iranian retaliation would
12:45
be deflected away from the United States and on to Israel." End quote this is
12:50
exactly what the US Empire is doing today i mean they spelled it out so clearly it's so obvious trump personally
12:57
gave Israel the green light he knew about the operation he helped to plan it trump delivered Israel hundreds of
13:04
missiles 3 days before Israel started the war and the US has been giving
13:10
Israel billions and billions of dollars of weapons and military assistance for
13:15
decades but especially since 2023 the Biden administration and the Trump
13:20
administration together have given well over 20 billion dollars of weapons and
13:26
ammunition missiles and other military equipment to carry out these proxy wars
13:31
on behalf of the US Empire and this is why the former US Secretary of State
13:36
Alexander Heg famously said quote "Israel is the largest American aircraft
13:42
carrier in the world that cannot be sunk it is located in a critical region for
13:49
American national security end quote so in other words Israel is an unsinkable
13:55
aircraft carrier for the US Empire this was even admitted by Israel's longest
14:00
ever serving prime minister basically the king of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu
14:06
netanyahu famously said that Israel is a quote mighty aircraft carrier end quote
14:11
of the United States and by the way Netanyahu is an American he was raised
14:17
and educated in the US he went to high school and college and got his first job in the US he had US citizenship twice
14:24
and he only gave up his US citizenship in order to be Israel's prime minister
14:29
but he is an American and what he's doing is serving the interests of the US empire so this brings me to the first
US imperial strategy
14:36
goal of the US-Israeli war on Iran which is to maintain US hijgemony in West Asia
14:42
also known as the Middle East this was clearly spelled out by the Pentagon the US Department of Defense back in 1992 in
14:50
the infamous Wolawitz doctrine this was a plan that was written by the under
14:56
secretary of defense Paul Wolawitz a notorious wararmonger and in the
15:01
Wolawitz doctrine he stated very clearly that the goal of the US empire was to
15:07
prevent the rise of any other superpower that could challenge the dominance of
15:13
the United States in the world at this time in the 1990s the Soviet Union had just been overthrown a year before in
15:19
1991 the US was the only major power in the world it was a unipolar world
15:24
dominated by the US Empire and they wrote very clearly in this Pentagon
15:29
document that that the quote goal is to prelude any hostile power from
15:35
dominating a region critical to our interests end quote and they named several regions among them were the
15:42
Middle East/Persian Gulf and also East Asia and those are the main two areas
15:49
today that the US military is targeting especially under Trump in East Asia the
15:54
US is militarizing the region to try to encircle China as part of the new cold war and now of course the US is using
16:02
Israel to wage war all across the Middle East West Asia to try to recreate the
16:08
region overthrowing all of the independent governments and propping up pro- US regimes and as they stated very
16:17
clearly in the Wolowitz doctrine the goal is also to maintain US quote
16:23
control of the resources of such a critical region end quote so if you
Geopolitics of West Asia (Middle East)
16:29
think about the geography of this region if you look at a map it becomes pretty clear why the US empire has been so
16:36
dedicated to propping up this colonial regime in Israel and why this has been bipartisan because it is perfectly
16:43
located geostrategically geographically as a launchpad for the US to wage war on
16:51
all of the other countries in the region to maintain control over West Asia over the Middle East i mean Israel Palestine
16:59
is this crucial point that links West Asia to the Mediterranean going into
17:04
Europe it also links West Asia to northern Africa to Egypt so the US
17:10
Empire has used this unsinkable aircraft carrier in Israel to attack Iran to
17:17
attack Iraq let's not forget the US invaded Iraq two times to attack Syria after over a decade of war on Syria that
17:24
started in 2011 and ultimately succeeded in the overthrow of the Syrian government in late 2024 the US has also
17:32
been attacking Yemen the Donald Trump administration waged war on Yemen continuing the war that was also waged
17:38
by Obama and Biden so the US is constantly using Israel to destabilize
17:44
all of the independent governments in the region and maintain hegemony over West Asia now obviously it goes without
Oil and gas
17:52
saying that West Asia has the largest reserves of oil and natural gas on Earth
17:58
nine of the world's top 20 largest oil producers are located in this region
18:04
however I should point out the United States is the world's number one producer of oil similarly seven of the
18:12
top 20 largest producers of natural gas are located in this region although once
18:18
again the United States is the number one producer of natural gas on Earth as
18:23
well so it's not that the United States needs this oil and gas the US has tons
18:29
of oil and gas of course US corporations for-profit fossil fuel companies would
18:34
love to exploit the oil and gas of this region which is largely controlled by
18:40
state-owned companies saudi Arabia for instance has the massive state-owned oil company Saudi Aramco and the other
18:46
Persian Gulf countries also have state-owned oil and gas companies of course the US would love to privatize
18:53
all of this and sell it off to US corporations but it's not like the US needs access to more oil and gas what
19:01
the US is more concerned about is maintaining control over the global price of oil and natural gas this is why
19:10
the US government for many years was waging a kind of political war against OPEC the Organization of Petroleum
19:17
Exporting Countries this organization was famously used in 1973 to declare an
19:23
oil embargo of the US and other western countries as part of a protest against
19:29
Israel's war so again we see historical parallels of how Israel is acting as a
19:34
vicious attack dog for the US empire in this very strategic region and today the
19:41
US has largely succeeded in weakening OPEC because the US has become the
19:46
number one producer of oil but the point is is that the US is very concerned about the possibility of oil production
19:53
and prices of oil in the global market being used as a geopolitical weapon
19:59
given that the global south and also Russia and China are leading producers
20:04
of oil and natural gas in the world so if they were to unite and use a cartel
20:10
like OPEC to control the price of oil or gas it could cause significant economic
20:16
damage and would lead to very high rates of inflation because when the price of
20:21
energy goes up it is an input in basically all other parts of the economy
20:26
so when the price of oil and gas goes up the price of everything else goes up and this obviously has led to a lot of
20:31
political instability in the US so the US is very concerned about the stability
20:37
of the price of oil and natural gas in global markets but what the US is also
20:43
very concerned about visav oil is the petro dollar system i'm going to talk
20:48
about this more in detail a bit later because I'm going to go point by point through the different goals of the US in
20:53
this war but this is a very important point that's related to oil and gas
20:58
production in the region but let's go back to this list of goals here and I know I'm spending a lot of time on point
21:04
one but this is the most important point of all the US strategy to maintain US hijgemony in West Asia it also makes
Geostrategic chokepoints
21:12
perfect sense at least from the perspective of imperial strategists if you look at a map of the world and the
21:19
role of this region in geostrategic choke points in the trade of oil and
21:26
other goods three of the most important choke points on earth are located in
21:32
this region including the straight of Hormuz the Babal Mandab and the Suez
21:38
Canal the US government's energy information administration the EIA has
21:43
written clearly that quote the straight of Hormuz is the world's most important
21:49
oil choke point end quote in fact 21% of all of the barrels of oil used on Earth
21:56
every single day pass through the straight of Hormuz as of 2022 that is
22:02
1if of the entire supply of oil on Earth and yet the straight of Hormuz is tiny
22:09
if Iran wanted to this would be a kind of nuclear scenario politically speaking
22:15
but Iran could close the straight of Hormuz which would grind a lot of the
22:20
global economy to a halt or at the very least it would cause very significant inflation because there would be a
22:27
shortage of 21% of the world's oil supply basically overnight but again
22:34
this is only one of the three critical choke points located in this region
22:39
another geopolitical choke point is the Bab al-Mandabub Strait which connects
22:45
the Arabian Sea into the Gulf of Aden into the Red Sea and then into the
22:50
Mediterranean this passes by Yemen and this has become a major geopolitical
22:56
choke point in recent years because the Yemeni resistance group Ansarah popularly known as the Houthis
23:02
restricted access to the Red Sea by Israeli ships and Western ships of
23:08
countries that are allied with Israel in protest of their war on Gaza so we've
23:14
seen a clear example of how these choke points can be used as geopolitical
23:20
leverage to push for particular political goals and the Babal Mandab is not quite as strategic as the straight
23:26
of Hormuz but it's still very important the US EIA estimated that 9% of seaborn
23:33
traded petroleum travels through the Babal Mandab and what's also important
23:39
is that this connects to another very important choke point which is the Suez
23:44
Canal which is one of the most important trade choke points on Earth and in order
23:50
to go through the Suez Canal you have to first go through the Babal Mandab so
23:55
from a very basic geopolitical or even geographical perspective if you just look at a map of West Asia it becomes
24:03
very clear why the imperial strategists in Washington who are trying to maximize the power of the US empire around the
24:10
world it's very obvious why they are so desperate to maintain control over this
24:16
region especially at a time like now when China has become the largest trading partner of the countries in the
24:23
region and the US is less and less important economically so this is why the US is doubling down on its support
24:30
for Israel and using Israel as a vicious attack dog to destabilize and wage war
24:37
on all of the independent countries in the region to threaten them and scare them and say if you move away from the
24:44
US dominated imperial order you will face serious consequences like the
24:50
people of Palestine and now the people of Iran so this brings us to the second
Axis of Resistance
24:55
major goal of the USIsraeli war on Iran which is to destroy the axis of
25:02
resistance and carry out the total colonization of Palestine so what is the
25:08
axis of resistance this is the term that is used to refer to the alliance of anti-colonialist groups armed groups
25:16
across West Asia the so-called Middle East and Iran is the largest and most
25:21
powerful of course Iran is an actual government not just a small armed group
25:26
but it is allied with the armed group Hezbollah in Lebanon which has its
25:31
origins in the 1980s fighting against Israel's illegal military occupation of
25:37
South Lebanon and of course in Palestine you have armed groups that have been fighting against Israel's illegal
25:43
occupation and blockade and in Gaza this most famously includes Hamas which is
25:48
the political party and the armed group that governs Gaza but there are also other Palestinian factions like the
25:55
Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine which is a socialist group with an armed wing that's the PFLP and
26:02
in Yemen you have the so-called Houthis which are officially known as Ansar
26:07
Allah and Ansarah governs northern Yemen where the majority of the Yemeni
26:13
population lives and yes they are allied with Iran but they're not so-called Iranian proxies they have their origins
26:21
in the Yemeni indigenous struggle against the extremist Wahhabi form of
26:27
Islam that was exported by Saudi Arabia to Yemen and other countries and also
26:33
Ansalah has its origins in groups that supported Palestine and also opposed the
26:39
illegal US invasion of Iraq in 2003 and over a decade Ansar grew in influence
26:46
and became more and more popular also especially fighting corruption in Yemen and in 2014 on the 21st of September
26:54
they carried out a revolution and they now govern the northern part of Yemen
26:59
and the US and its allies including Saudi Arabia and Israel and the UAE have
27:04
been fighting against the so-called Houthies against Ansarah for a decade now starting in 2015 and have been
27:11
unable to defeat them but they're another very important part of the resistance axis and then finally in Iraq
27:18
you have the Islamic resistance of Iraq and other armed groups many of which
27:24
were formed because they were fighting extremist groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS
27:29
and by the way the main victims of these extremist groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS
27:34
were Shia Muslims because you you know obviously the vast majority of Sunnis in
27:39
the world are not extremists but these very extremist violent fascist groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS they distort
27:47
Sunni Islam they preach a very extreme form of Sunni Islam and they see Shia
27:52
Muslims as their main enemy and they largely have killed a lot of Shia
27:58
Muslims in countries like Iraq where the Shia are the majority and also in Syria
28:04
where the Shia are a minority and also in Yemen where the main base of Ansarah
28:11
are Shia Muslims the Zides which is a a sect that is related to Shia Islam
28:17
although
they're actual Islamic juristprudence is more similar to mainstream
Sunnis but the point is is that many of these groups have their
28:24
origins in Shia Islam and of course Iran is the largest Shia majority country the
28:30
vast majority of Muslims in Iran are Shia but this brings me to the final country that was previously part of the
Syria: Fall of Assad government
28:38
Axis of resistance which was Syria when it was governed by the longtime leader
28:43
Bashar al-Assad and his father Haes al-Assad they were Arab nationalists
28:49
syria was one of the countries in the region that always supported the Palestinian struggle and refused to
28:54
normalize relations with Israeli colonialism however starting in 2011 the
29:00
US started a war in Syria trying to overthrow the Syrian government the CIA
29:06
spent billions of dollars arming and training so-called rebels many of whom
29:11
later joined al-Qaeda and ISIS many of whom were extremists Islamists and they
29:17
eventually succeeded with the support of Israel and the Gulf monarchies in Turkey
29:23
which is a member of NATO altogether these countries supported the so-called rebels in Syria and they succeeded in
29:31
2024 in overthrowing the Syrian government and now Syria is governed by
29:36
the former leader of al-Qaeda i'm not exaggerating in any way the unelected
29:41
so-called president of Syria since the previous government was overthrown is the former leader of Syria's al-Qaeda
29:48
affiliate the world's largest al-Qaeda affiliate which was called Jabat An-Nusra which later rebranded with US
29:55
support as Hayat Tahia Sham Hts and the former leader of Syrian al-Qaeda is he
30:02
previously used the name Abu Muhammad al- Julani and now he uses the name his birth name Ahmed Ashara and he declared
30:09
himself the so-called president of Syria he was not elected so I mean people love to criticize the former ba'ist
30:16
government of the Assad family in Syria they love to criticize it for being authoritarian but Syria today is just as
30:22
authoritarian if not even more authoritarian and I mean it's ruled by the former leader of al-Qaeda and the US
30:29
government has been working very closely to normalize relations and has been
30:34
supporting the new al-Qaeda Syrian government because Syria is now working
30:40
with the US against Iran in and in alliance with Israel so now the
30:46
rebranded al-Qaeda leader who is the unelected president of Syria Ashara he
30:52
said openly that he wants to normalize relations with Israel which the previous Assad government had always refused to
30:59
do so he's obediently following US orders and I have to stress that this
31:04
US-Israeli attack on Iran was only made possible because of the overthrow of the
31:11
Syrian government and now Israel has colonized more and more Syrian land
31:17
they've destroyed Syria's military so it can't defend itself and Israel used
31:23
Syrian territory in order to launch these attacks on Iran and keep in mind
31:29
that the major British newspaper The Telegraph published a report with interviews with Syrian rebels who
31:37
admitted that the US military backed their operation to overthrow the Assad
31:43
government in Syria so again this makes it very clear why the US and Israel are waging war on Iran because they already
US plan to overthrow 7 countries
31:50
succeeded in overthrowing Syria and removing Syria from the resistance axis
31:55
and Israel has also been waging war in South Lebanon against Hezbollah the
32:01
Lebanese resistance group that has its origins in the 1980s in the fight against Israel's illegal occupation of
32:08
South Lebanon so Israel weakened Hezbollah and killed its leadership israel has been taking control over Gaza
32:16
colonizing Gaza colonizing the West Bank which according to international law is
32:21
occupied Palestinian territory the US under Trump and also under Obama and
32:26
Biden were waging war on Ansar law in Yemen weakening them and of course the
32:32
US government invaded Iraq two times in the Gulf War and then again in 2003 in
32:38
the Iraq war and now the final target is Iran which the US and Israel are now
32:44
attacking this was famously admitted by Wesley Clark the former US general and
32:50
commander of NATO back in 2007 in an interview he admitted that the US
32:57
military had made plans to overthrow the governments of seven countries in 5
33:03
years what were those seven countries iraq Syria Lebanon Libya Somalia Sudan
33:10
and Iran iran was the final country on the list and of those seven the US
33:17
succeeded in toppling or destabilizing the governments in six of those
33:22
countries iraq Syria Lebanon Libya Somalia and Sudan iran is the final
33:28
country remaining and now the US and Israel are openly directly attacking
33:34
Iran this is what they've been planning for for decades he said "I just got this down from upstairs," meaning the
33:40
Secretary of Defense's office today and he said "This is a memo that describes how we're going to take out seven
33:45
countries in 5 years starting with Iraq and then Syria Lebanon Libya Somalia
33:52
Sudan and finishing off Iran." So now this brings me to another major
Iranian Revolution
33:57
goal of the USIsraeli war on Iran which is to overturn the Iranian revolution
34:05
going back to 1979 this is the uprising that founded the
34:10
Islamic Republic of Iran that ever since has been a target of the US now it's
34:16
very important to understand the role that Iran played before the 1979 revolution in the 1950s,60s and 70s Iran
34:26
was ruled by a king a monarch known as the Shaw he was installed in power in
34:32
1953 by the western colonial nations after the CIA and British intelligence
34:38
MI6 organized a coup to overthrow Iran's democratically elected prime minister
34:45
Muhammad Mosedc who was a left-leaning nationalist who had nationalized the oil
34:51
of Iran kicking out the Western oil corporations and the US was also very
34:57
concerned that he would lean toward the Soviet Union in the original cold war
35:02
the first cold war that the US was waging at the time so the US put in power the sha the king of Iran and he
35:10
was a loyal US ally throughout this period and at that time Iran was a key
35:17
part of what was known as the twin pillars policy the US empire tried to
35:23
maintain control over West Asia saudi Arabia another loyal US ally was the
35:29
western pillar and Iran was the eastern pillar in this twin pillars policy
35:36
however that changed in 1979 with the Iranian revolution and the newly founded
35:42
Islamic Republic was very influenced by global south anti-colonial struggles the
35:49
national liberation struggles of what at that time was called the third world now it's important to understand that in the
Anti-colonial movements
35:56
region in the 1960s and 70s there were many different revolutionary movements
36:02
there were many different Marxist and socialist groups there were communists there were left-wing Arab nationalists
36:08
who were also socialists but who were against the communists there was a lot of infighting and many different
36:13
factions but the point is is that during the cold war the first cold war the US
36:19
was waging a brutal war against the socialist and communist groups in the
36:24
region and the US used Israel and Saudi Arabia and its other allies to violently
36:31
repress these revolutionary groups and then when the US defeated many of the
36:36
communist groups the US started targeting the secular Arab nationalist
36:41
groups and the US Israel and Saudi Arabia waged a war against Arab
36:47
nationalist leaders the most famous Arab nationalist leader was Gamal Abdaser in
36:53
Egypt he led a revolution in 1952 against a western sponsored monarchy and
37:00
he created a new Arab nationalist republic and Nasser inspired a movement
37:06
of Arab nationalism all across the region so then later you had the rise to power of Arab nationalists in Iraq and
37:14
then in Syria you had the formation of the Bath party which was a party that combined socialism with Arab nationalism
37:22
and then you had a split in the Bath party between Syria and Iraq but both Syria under Assad and Iraq under Saddam
37:30
Hussein had Arab nationalist governments and then in Libya you had the revolutionary anti-colonialist leader
37:37
Muhammar Gaddafi who was also an Arab nationalist and a socialist and after
37:42
the first cold war ended the Soviet Union was overthrown and then the US government waged a series of regime
37:50
change wars overthrowing Saddam Hussein in Iraq who was from another faction of
37:55
the Bath party overthrowing Muhammad Gaddafi in Libya in 2011 and then
38:01
finally overthrowing Assad and the Bath Partyled government in Syria in 2024 so
38:09
the US empire and its allies Israel and Saudi Arabia basically succeeded in
38:15
defeating Arab nationalism today there are no more Arab nationalist governments
38:20
in West Asia during the first cold war there were many Arab nationalist governments in Egypt Syria Iraq Yemen
38:29
but all of those movements were destroyed so the communists and the socialists were destroyed then the Arab
38:34
nationalists were destroyed and then what happened is you had the rise of Islamic nationalist groups islamist
38:41
groups but not the kinds of extremist Islamist groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS
38:46
you had a kind of revolutionary thirdw world nationalist global south nationalist movement in countries like
38:54
Lebanon with Hezbollah in Yemen with Ansarah and of course in Iran with the
39:00
Iranian revolution so Iran is one of the last bastions of anti-colonial
39:05
resistance that the US empire and its regional proxies have been trying to destroy to maintain US hijgemony over
39:13
this region so again getting back to the list of goals in this USIsraeli war on
Dedollarization
39:19
Iran obviously the US has tried for decades to overthrow or at least to
39:24
weaken Iran's revolutionary government but another goal of this war is to scare
39:30
other countries in the region that may want to move away from the US and the
39:35
dollar and especially the Persian Gulf monarchies because Iran has been a major
39:42
country pushing for ddollarization challenging the role of the US dollar as
39:47
the global reserve currency in fact in recent years Iran has been selling more
39:52
and more oil and gas in other currencies for instance Iran has been exporting a
39:59
lot of oil to China which is the world's largest importer of oil and China has
40:04
been paying for that oil not with US dollars but with China's own currency
40:10
the renmi also known as the yuan this has allowed Iran and China to circumvent
40:17
unilateral Western sanctions the US has imposed very aggressive sanctions on
40:22
Iran and also some on China these sanctions violate international law because they don't have the endorsement
40:28
of the UN Security Council but it has devastated Iran's economy so Iran is
40:33
constantly trying to find ways around the US dominated financial system which has only further incentivized it to seek
40:42
alternatives to the US dollar and to support a global movement that is growing of ddollarization and Iran is a
40:50
significant player in global energy markets iran is tied with Iraq and China
40:56
as the fifth largest producer of oil on Earth and Iran is the world's number
41:03
three producer of natural gas and what the US is really concerned about is that
41:08
other countries in the Persian Gulf may start doing exactly what Iran is doing
41:14
and sell their oil and gas in other currencies not in the US dollar in fact
41:20
this is already happening the United Arab Emirates has been selling liqufied natural gas LNG to China in yuan not in
41:29
dollars and Saudi Arabia which has historically been one of the most important oil producers on Earth even
41:36
Saudi Arabia is also in talks with China about selling its oil in China's
41:42
currency the yuan which would be a massive blow to the US petrod dollar
41:48
system what is the petro dollar system well in order to understand this we have to go back to August 1971
Petrodollar and OPEC oil embargo
41:56
when US President Richard Nixon ended the convertability of the dollar to gold
42:02
because before that going to the Breton Woods conference of 1944 at the end of
42:08
World War II the US dollar had been pegged to gold at a fixed exchange rate
42:14
of $35 for one ounce of gold nixon ended that and since 1971 the US dollar has
42:23
been a freely floating fiat currency this means that the value of the US dollar in relation to other currencies
42:30
is constantly fluctuating up and down in the foreign exchange market and in the
42:35
1970s there was a lot of inflation in the United States and the US was trying to find a way to stabilize the value of
42:43
the dollar to bring down inflation this is especially after the OPEC oil embargo
42:50
in 1973 which caused oil prices to skyrocket and in 1974
42:56
inflation in the US hit 11% which was record-breaking at the time in 1973 the
43:04
Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries OPEC launched an oil embargo
43:09
on the US and its Western Allies because of their support for Israel which was
43:15
illegally occupying Palestinian Egyptian Syrian and Jordanian territory let's not
43:21
forget this was a very revolutionary period in the 70s and there were anti-colonial national liberation
43:27
struggles happening around the world so the global south came together and used its power in the global oil market to
43:35
use oil as a geopolitical weapon against the western colonial powers and this
43:40
embargo immediately caused the price of oil to more than double and then in the
43:46
subsequent years throughout all of the geopolitical turbulence between 1973 and
43:51
1981 the price of oil increased by five times this was a massive crisis and this
44:00
was a very significant reason for the sky-high rates of inflation in the US
44:06
and in many other countries around the world in the 1970s and by the way a year
44:12
and a half after the OPEC oil embargo the leader of that embargo was
44:18
assassinated he was king fisel of Saudi Arabia and he had been very pro
44:23
Palestine and was very angry at Israel's occupation of Palestinian territory and
44:29
also occupation of the territory of other neighboring Arab countries so he is the one who as the king of Saudi
44:35
Arabia which at the time was the de facto leader of OPEC he oversaw the OPEC
44:41
oil embargo and a year and a half later he was assassinated but regardless the point is is that the OPEC oil embargo
44:49
was a major wakeup call to the Western imperialist countries that colonize most
44:54
of the world it showed them that the global south which produced the majority of the oil in the world could unite and
45:02
through OPEC they could use their influence in the global oil industry to do significant damage to the economies
45:09
of the West so in 1974 a year after the OPEC oil embargo the Richard Nixon
45:16
administration made a plan to create the petro dollar system and what happened in
45:22
1974 Nixon sent the US Treasury Secretary William Simon Bill Simon to
45:29
Saudi Arabia to make a deal this is how Bloomberg described their goal quote
45:36
"Neutralize crude oil as an economic weapon and find a way to persuade a hostile kingdom that is Saudi Arabia to
45:43
finance America's widening deficit with its newfound petro dollar wealth." End
45:48
quote and Nixon made it clear there was no coming back empty-handed now the
45:54
strategy was not only crafted by Nixon but also by Nixon's all powerful
46:01
secretary of state and national security adviser Henry Kissinger so Kissinger and
46:07
Nixon sent the Treasury Secretary Bill Simon to Saudi Arabia who was William
46:13
Simon he was a Wall Street veteran who had served as the head of the treasuries
46:19
desk bond trading for the major Wall Street investment bank Solomon Brothers
46:25
and in Jedda Saudi Arabia in 1974 this is the deal he made with the Saudis
46:32
i'm reading here from Bloomberg quote "Simon better than anyone else understood the appeal of US government
46:38
debt and how to sell the Saudis on the idea that America was the safest place to park their petro dollars." End quote
46:46
and then later on quote "The basic framework was strikingly simple the US
46:51
would buy oil from Saudi Arabia and provide the kingdom military aid and equipment in return the Saudis would
46:58
plow billions of their petro dollar revenue back into treasuries and finance
47:03
America's spending end quote this was famously spelled out by the economist Michael Hudson a good friend of the show
Super Imperialism
47:10
back in his book Superimperialism the economic strategy of American Empire
47:16
he explained how with the war in Korea and then the US war on Vietnam the US
47:22
began running a larger and larger current account deficit that is a balance of payments deficit the US was
47:29
importing more and more and exporting less and less and Michael Hudson explained with all of the data proving
47:36
that the reason for that was because of the US empire the wars it was waging
47:42
around the world the balance of payments deficit was due to the US military's
47:47
global spending to maintain this empire with foreign military bases all around
47:53
the world so after Nixon ended the link of the US dollar to gold the way that he
47:59
maintained global demand for the US dollar was to force the Persian Gulf
48:05
monarchies especially Saudi Arabia but then later the UAE and Qatar and others
48:11
to sell their oil and gas in US dollars which means that countries all around
48:16
the world that need to import oil and gas have to get access to dollars this
48:22
maintains global demand for the US dollar and it has allowed the US to run
48:27
larger and larger current account deficits trade deficits with the rest of the world over decades and yet most
48:35
countries would face a severe currency crisis if this happened their currency would fall significantly against the
48:41
dollar and they would have hyperinflation the reason it doesn't happen in the US is because there's
48:47
global demand for the US dollar because countries need the dollar in order to
48:53
pay for imports not only of oil and gas but many other commodities and other imports because the dollar is the global
49:00
reserve currency and also because other countries that have current account surpluses trade surpluses with the rest
49:06
of the world they recycle the excess dollars they get from trade into US
49:12
government debt us Treasury securities and other US assets so at the heart of
49:19
the exorbitant privilege the US has by printing the global reserve currency the
49:24
heart of that exorbitant privilege is the petrod dollar system and especially
49:30
the Persian Gulf monarchies selling their oil and gas in dollars so the fact
Petrodollar challenge
49:36
that Iran and the UAE are already selling oil and gas to China in yuan is
49:43
very concerning from the perspective of the US empire and Washington is especially afraid of the possibility of
49:50
Saudi Arabia doing the same now Saudi Arabia still plays a very influential
49:55
role in the global oil market as a swing producer because Saudi Arabia's
50:01
state-owned oil company Saudi Aramco is known to be used as a political tool
50:06
when Riyad wants to accomplish a certain goal it can increase or reduce its oil
50:12
production in order to influence the price of oil on the global market and Saudi Arabia is still a major player in
50:19
OPEC so the US is very concerned about the possibility of Saudi Arabia moving
50:25
away from the pro dollar and potentially toward a pro- yuan or at the very least
50:30
selling its oil in different currencies with different trading partners in fact back in 2023 the Wall Street Journal
50:38
published an article that outlined the demands that the Biden administration
50:44
had imposed on Saudi Arabia as part of a plan to broker Ra Promont with Israel
50:51
the US was pressuring Saudi Arabia to officially recognize Israel and to abandon the Palestinians and according
50:58
to this report the US government had two main demands one Saudi Arabia had to cut
51:04
its close ties with China and two Saudi Arabia had to give assurances that it
51:10
will sell its oil in dollars not the Chinese currency the yuan the Wall
51:16
Street Journal wrote that quote "The Biden administration is seeking assurances from Saudi Arabia that it
51:22
will distance itself economically and militarily from China officials said the
51:27
US could seek assurances from Saudi Arabia that it won't allow China to build military bases in the kingdom
51:35
negotiators could also seek limitations on Saudi Arabia using technology developed by China's Huawei and
51:42
assurances that Riad will use US dollars not Chinese currency to price oil sales
51:50
end quote if you want more information about this I have another video and an article specifically about this topic
51:56
which I will link to in the description below but the point to take away is that the US is waging war on Iran as a threat
52:04
to other countries in the region telling them that if you act too independently
52:10
like Iran if you get too close to China and Russia if you sell your oil and gas
52:16
in other currencies and challenge the petro dollar you will face consequences
52:21
the US is punishing Iran waging war on Iran and saying to Saudi Arabia and the UAE and Qatar which have historically
52:28
been US client regimes like Iran was before the revolution in 1979 under the
52:34
Sha the US is telling them do not try to copy what Iran is doing or you will be
52:40
the next Iran so finally this brings us to the last two goals of the USIsraeli
BRICS
52:48
war on Iran which are deeply related which is the attempt to destabilize
52:53
bricks and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization divide the global south and disrupt the multi-polar project and also
53:01
to break apart the partnership between Iran Russia and China with the goal of
53:07
isolating Beijing in the new cold war now I already talked about how the Iranian revolution was a kind of Islamic
53:14
oriented third world nationalist movement inspired by other global south struggles and Iran has always been an
53:22
ally of other anti-colonial movements iran is a close ally of Cuba and
53:27
Venezuela and Nicaragua in Latin America which have revolutionary anti-imperialist governments iran has
53:33
good relations with many countries in Africa and Iran has become very close to
53:39
China and Russia and in 2023 the brick summit was held in South
53:45
Africa and Iran was invited to become a full member and of course it accepted
53:50
this invitation and as of the 1st of January 2024 Iran has been a full member
53:57
of bricks along with the original five members Brazil Russia India China and South Africa as well as Egypt the UAE
54:07
Ethiopia and Indonesia and again keep in mind I was talking about the US attempt
54:12
to impose hijgemony on West Asia and North Africa well now you have Iran the
54:18
UAE and Egypt which are all members of BRICS and they're all in the region and
54:24
Saudi Arabia has been invited to join BRICS although it has not officially given an answer it's likely that Riad is
54:30
using that as a bargaining chip with Washington and saying to Washington well if you put too much pressure on us we'll
54:37
join BRICS so it's a card they can always play but getting back to Iran so Iran is now a full member of BRICS and
54:44
when Iran officially joined the global south organization the Iranian state media outlet Norse published an article
54:52
explaining its goals it noted that Iran is seeking to quote lessen the influence
54:59
of imposed sanctions over its economy end quote they also said that bricks
55:05
will help to challenge the quote current unilateral world order end quote so
55:10
they're talking about the US dominated unipolar order creating a more multi-olar world and then finally this
55:18
is a very important quote iran's state media outlet said that by joining bricks
55:24
this will quote deepen the current existing relations between Beijing
55:30
Moscow and Thran as the three main architects of the new world order end
55:37
quote so Iran is saying "We have an alliance with China and Russia to
55:42
challenge the US Empire." So it's obvious why the US Empire is so
55:48
concerned about this and is trying to do everything it can to divide this alliance i'm going to talk more about
55:54
that in a moment here but I also want to briefly talk about the Shanghai Cooperation Organization or the SEO iran
Shanghai Cooperation Organization
56:03
officially became a member of the SEO in 2023 and whereas BRICS is more of an economic
56:10
and political organization the SEO is more of a security organization
56:16
originally founded to fight against extremist groups in Eurasia and members
56:21
of the SEO include China Russia Iran and also India and Pakistan and Kazakhstan
56:31
and several other Central Asian republics this is a very important
56:36
organization for Eurasian integration and the SEO has been speaking out
56:42
against the US war on Iran in a statement on the 14th of June the day
56:48
after Israel started the war on Iran the SEO stated that it quote strongly
56:54
condemns the military strikes carried out by Israel end quote it condemned these as quote aggressive actions
57:02
against civilian targets including energy and transport infrastructure which have resulted in civilian
57:08
casualties end quote and it denounced these as quote a gross violation of
57:14
international law and the United Nations charter they constitute an infringement
57:19
on Iran's sovereignty end quote so from that statement it looked like Eurasia
57:25
was speaking with a very clear voice in denouncing this USIsraeli war however
57:31
for years now the US has been trying to divide the SEO just like how the US has
57:37
been trying to divide bricks and after the SEO released this statement the
57:43
Ministry of External Affairs of India published a statement that distanced
57:48
itself from the joint statement published by the SEO now India currently
57:54
has a very right-wing government led by the BJP which is a Hindu nationalist party and its prime minister Narendra
58:00
Modi and Modi and BJP are very pro-Israel and in fact the main
58:06
opposition party in India the left-leaning Congress party which originally by the way when India
58:12
co-founded bricks it was under the left-leaning Congress party not under Modi and the BJP well Congress publicly
58:20
condemned Modi for allying with Israel so strongly as Israel is attacking Iran
58:27
which historically has had good relations with India so India is sacrificing its relations with much of
58:34
the global south in order to maintain good relations with Israel so what this shows is that inside bricks and the
58:40
Shanghai Cooperation Organization there sometimes are some political divisions they still do agree on many things you
58:47
could say maybe 80% of things but on 20% of things they have some severe disagreements and this is why the core
Iran-Russia-China partnership
58:55
of this new multi-olar world the core of bricks and the SEO is the alliance
59:02
between China Russia and Iran and this is why the US has been so desperate to
59:10
break up this alliance this is why NATO which is led by the US has been waging a
59:16
proxy war against Russia in Ukraine for years and this is why Donald Trump has
59:22
made it very clear that he's trying to divide Russia and China he wants the US
59:28
to improve relations with Russia in order to isolate China as part of the US
59:34
empire's divide and conquer strategy listen to Trump admit it openly here you
59:40
never want Russia and China uniting we
59:45
united them it's a shame the stupidity of what they done i'm going to have to
59:50
ununite them and I can think I can do that too i have to ununite them and it's
59:55
not just Iran that's the target iran is the medium-term goal the long-term goal
1:00:01
of the US empire the target is China the US goal is to isolate China by
1:00:08
overthrowing all of its major allies and this was admitted basically by the CEO
1:00:14
of Palunteer which is one of the most powerful contractors of the US military
1:00:20
and the CIA the CEO of Palunteer is Alex Karp and he's a close ally of Donald
1:00:26
Trump and he admitted in an interview in 2024 that the US is quote very likely
1:00:35
end quote to fight a three-front war against China Russia and Iran that was
1:00:42
stated clearly by the CEO of Palunteer and he has a lot of insider knowledge because again Palunteer is one of the
1:00:49
most powerful US government contractors and by the way the New York Times reported in May that Donald Trump is
1:00:56
using Palunteer to carry out mass surveillance of Americans to compile
1:01:01
data to create big files on all Americans so Palunteer is directly
1:01:07
complicit in mass surveillance big brother style mass surveillance of all
1:01:13
Americans on behalf of the US government palanteer is basically an outsourced arm
1:01:18
of the CIA and the Pentagon in fact Palunteer originally received seed money
1:01:24
from the CIA it was partially a CIA creation and one of the co-founders of
1:01:31
Palunteer is the far-right billionaire oligarch Peter Teal who also funded the
1:01:37
political campaign of JD Vance the US vice president jd Vance worked for Peter
1:01:43
Teal at his venture capital firm in Silicon Valley so all of these US
1:01:49
corporations are invested in a war on Iran and China china is their main goal
1:01:56
because China is the only country powerful enough to challenge the dominance of the US Empire not only
1:02:03
militarily but more so economically and politically and this was all spelled out
1:02:10
clearly by the late US imperial strategist Ziggnv Bjinski who formerly
1:02:16
served as the US national security adviser under US President Jimmy Carter in 1997 Brjinsky published a very
1:02:23
influential book titled The Grand Chess Board: American Primacy and Its
1:02:29
Geostrategic Imperatives this was published a few years after the overthrow of the Soviet Union and in
1:02:35
this book Bjinsky discussed ways in which the US Empire could maintain its
1:02:40
unipolar dominance of the entire planet he was very concerned about the
1:02:45
possibility of alliances of countries that could challenge the global dictatorship of the US empire which is
1:02:52
what it is i mean in the 1990s the US empire controlled basically everything in the world and the US Empire imposed
1:03:00
its policies on everyone at the barrel of a gun it was a global US-dinated dictatorship and in this book Bjinsky
1:03:08
warned that quote "The most dangerous scenario would be a grand coalition of
1:03:14
China Russia and perhaps Iran an anti-hgemonic coalition united not by
1:03:21
ideology but by complimentary grievances." End quote and that essentially is what we see today is a
1:03:28
kind of loose coalition between China Russia and Iran this is why the CEO of
1:03:35
the CIA backed Trump linked company Palunteer is saying very clearly that
1:03:40
the US empire is preparing for a war against Russia China and Iran the US has
1:03:47
already been waging a proxy war against Russia for a few years in Ukraine now
1:03:52
the US and Israel are waging war against Iran the US Empire is using Israel as
1:03:58
its vicious attack dog to wage war on Iran and China is the main target so the
US divide-and-conquer strategy
1:04:05
USIsraeli war on Iran is not just about West Asia but the Middle East it's not
1:04:11
just about Palestine this is about the strategy of US empire to try to maintain
1:04:16
global domination and to divide and conquer it's an age-old strategy divide
1:04:22
and conquer this is a truly global conflict and it is a perfect symbol of
1:04:27
what we see today in the 21st century with the emerging multi-olar world order
1:04:33
the US empire is doing everything it can to try to strangle the multi-olar baby
1:04:40
in its crib to prevent the world from becoming more multipolar to prevent the
1:04:45
global south from truly decolonizing not only politically like it did in the '
1:04:50
50s60s and 70s but also economically by challenging neoc colonialism the US
1:04:56
empire is desperate to try to save the decline of its hegemony and go back to
1:05:02
the unipolar world that we had in the 1990s and early 2000s when there were no
1:05:07
other superpowers that could challenge the global dictatorship of the US empire
1:05:13
which is what it was it was a global political and economic dictatorship controlled by the US and any country
1:05:20
that resisted the US like Cuba and Venezuela and Iran was punished with
1:05:27
sanctions with blockades with regime change attempts with color revolution
1:05:32
attempts and with war that's why we see this war today that the US is using
1:05:38
Israel to wage against Iran that's why the US is waging a proxy war against
1:05:44
Russia in Ukraine and that's why the US is preparing for war on China which is
1:05:51
the ultimate goal of the new cold war being waged by the US because China is
1:05:56
the only country powerful enough to challenge the global dictatorship of the
1:06:01
US Empire so now with all of that said I'm going to conclude i know this was a
Outro
1:06:08
very long analysis today but I wanted to spend time thoroughly explaining why the
1:06:14
US and Israel are waging war against Iran providing all of this background
1:06:19
information that is almost never mentioned in the Western corporate media or if it is mentioned it's all isolated
1:06:26
and it's very important to bring these facts all together to have a comprehensive understanding of this
1:06:33
crisis i hope you learned something from this analysis today i hope you enjoyed it i am Ben Norton i am the
